Day 1, 16 March 2010

Wake up at 6.30am to bathe and changed. Blew dry my hair and cabbed down to the airport at 7plus. After that waited for around 15 minutes for my aunt and my cousin. Then we did check-in of luggage and headed down to the canteen for breakfast. Seriously i'm very hungry. =X  After breakfast, check into the airport via automatic lane. Waited for 45 minutes before we can board the plane. At 9.45am, board the plane and was on the plane for 4 hours 15 minutes. Finally at 3pm, reached taiwan and waited for the van to pick us up. Woah, the weather there is chilling cold but i like the weather there because you don't sweat there. Then after 1 hour, we reached our hotel situated at 西门町(Xi Men Ding) area. Seriously, i hate the hotel there and their breakfast! It sucks! Our hotel room is room 805, it's one of the 'big' room i suppose, the bathroom is big but the window is facing other people's flat and the window is just beside the bathing area! But luckily there's a 'curtain' to cover the window. But the bathroom door cannot be locked! So we have to use a tissue paper to stuck in between the door. 

Rested till 5.30pm and went down to the lobby to meet my cousin-in-law's friend to pass him his stuff. & He brought us around for dinner. First stop we walked a good 30 minutes to the destination where there is alot of temporary shops selling foods. We ate 鲁肉饭(braised meat rice) and drink 四神汤(idk the english name) and also 蚵煎(Fried Oyster). Usually i don't eat the oyster in Singapore but in taiwan, i eat the oyster! Maybe because the oyster in Taiwan is nicer. LOL! After that we also have 臭豆腐(Smelly Tofu), 佛跳墙(Buddha Jump Over The Wall), Sushi, a type of sticky rice, 鲁大肠(Braised Pig Large Intestine). Eating this little bit, little bit is really filling. & by 8pm, we are full already. We walked back to our hotel to rest till 8.30pm. & inside every hotel, there will be a television right. Yes, I was watching the television and changing the channels. Then something epic happen, i was changing the channel and suddenly, i changed it into a porn channel and i let out a shout and quickly change away. My aunt and cousin was shocked and curious at my shout. They asked me why, then i told them that there is porn! I was really shocked at how open they(taiwanese) are. Seriously, this is the first time i've encountered this kind of stuff in a hotel! Then after 8.30pm, we headed down to 西门町(Xi Men Ding) to walk, and it is really a shopping haven there. In the first day, i didn't buy any things. But i got a list of things on my mind already. We walked till 11pm and headed back to hotel to rest.
